This presentation was created using Google Slides for English students in grades 9-12 and dual enrollment students at the local community college.  It incorporates YouTube videos, various infographics, statistical information, and other web-based resources.  It is one of the resources used to address our media literacy standards.

Notetaking and Paraphasing

This lesson was designed to reinforce the importance of good notetaking and paraphrasing when conducting research. It was created using Genially. Students were present with tools and strategies to help them become better notetakers and paraphrasers. The culminating activity is a small group paraphrase of popular song lyrics.
